MISSION
Ensure that the new center of excellence at T-Hub is Set up and functioning as contractually agreed. Prepare and organize the inauguration of the office in December in coordination with T-Hub, The foundation and DDR&D.
Manage the daily activities of the center of excellence and coordinate professional meetings with potential startups, and partners.
Plan and organize all major outreach initiatives and events, scout for new opportunities in the startup ecosystem, industry, and academia.
Provide Strategic vision and leadership aligning with the organizational goals.
Administration:
● Daily updates, strategizing and communication with the foundation and DDR&D
● Serve as the interface with T-Hub
● Manage office assignments and upkeeping of the office according to the standards.
● Administer all aspects of small to medium projects concurrently from initiation through closure.
Coordination:
● Resource management, allocation and budget supervision of projects undertaken by the COE.
● Schedule meetings with relevant stakeholders.
● Develop proposals for COE.
● Oversee the logistics for delegations (hotels, transportation, relevant material, agenda, meetings, touring… etc.)
● Coordinate major events (Gala nights, contractors, stage lineup, guest list, etc.)
Business Development:
● Explore new opportunities, create a sustainable network.
● Scout and meet potential partners.
● Develop overarching approach to the work and vet potential leads.
● Create an Advocacy strategy for the goals of the COE.
● Actively search for like-minded organizations.
● Participate in relevant events in T-HUB and other relevant places.
Academia:
● Create collaboration opportunities with academia in both countries (Israel-India)
● Meet with key academic stakeholders and define collaboration strategies.
● Follow up on action items to ensure progress.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
● College degree - advanced degree preferred.
● At least 5 years of experience in office management, administration and events coordination, preferably with MNCs or diplomatic missions - preferred with an affiliation to Israel.
● At least 2 years of experience handling international collaborative projects.
RELEVANT DEGREES:
● Preferred: international education (Europe, US, Israel)
● Business-related studies
● International relations
● Marketing/Events/Public Relations/Media
● Technology and innovation background
EXPERIENCE:
● Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Manger, Events Planner or Organizer
● Impressive portfolio of previously managed events (meetings, parties, corporate events) with at least 5 years of experience in a multinational environment, preferably involving Israel and the USA
● Hands on experience handling international collaborative projects.
● Complete MS Office proficiency and knowledge of online apps
● Intermediate knowledge in design software and skills
PERSONAL SKILLS:
● Independent worker, trustworthy and reliable
● Excellent communication skills
● Ability to manage multiple projects independently and simultaneously.
● Fluent in spoken and written English and Hindi - knowledge of Hebrew would be a major advantage (any additional Indian language is also an advantage)
● Good interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and time management
● Attention to details and ability to work effectively under pressure.
● Willingness to work outside of office hours and availability to work on-site at events.
● Ability to travel frequently within India.
WORK CONDITIONS:
● Contract: Six-month freelance contract with the option to renew
● Location: The center is in Hyderabad, but the work is Pan-India (candidates based in Hyderabad are preferred, but remote candidates who are free to travel will also be considered)
● Travel: Full-time onsite at conferences from Dec. 8-12, with one to two trips per month as needed
