Job Description

Your typical day will include:

Client Engagement: Produce and deliver a client presentation to showcase project milestones and outcomes. Use this opportunity to strengthen relationships and discuss future phases or additional services.
Project Oversight: Focus on overseeing multiple project workstreams, ensuring alignment with overall objectives. This involves checking in with team leads and providing guidance as needed.
Workshop Facilitation: Conduct a workshop at the client’s site, facilitating discussions to align on strategic objectives and gather insights for tailored solutions that leverage your expertise.
Collaborative Planning: Engage in collaborative sessions with project teams to develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Ensure everyone is aligned on the expectations and deliverable criteria.
Problem Solving: Dedicate time to resolving complex issues that arise within projects, using analytical skills and your own subject matter expertise to identify solutions and implement them.
Quality Assurance: Conduct a final quality assurance check before client submission. This involves scrutinising every aspect of the deliverable for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client requirements. Make any necessary adjustments and validate results through peer review or testing.
Business Development: Engage in activities to expand business opportunities, such as networking with potential clients or strategising on new service offerings. Support/lead response to RFP’s and take the lead on designing our approach to delivering the client outcomes.
Team Development: Mentor junior staff and provide coaching to develop their skills and capabilities. This includes one-on-one check-ins with team members to discuss their career aspirations and provide feedback on their performance.
Collaborate with the national Human Capital Consulting Practice to contribute to practice and business development activities.
Qualifications
Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with:

Experience: For Managers, 7-10 years, and for Associate Directors, 10+ years, preferably in consulting or professional services, or in specific roles focused on people-related aspects of organisational transformation, change management, or workforce strategy. Must be comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
Qualification: A tertiary qualification relevant to people at work and business understanding is desired. Topics include, but are not limited to: Change Management, Organisational Development, Organisational Behaviour, Leadership Studies, Business Administration, Adult Education, Human Resource Development/Management, Communications, Labour Economics, and Behavioural Theory.
Expertise: Knowledge in designing and leading organisational design/operating models or change management programmes is highly desirable. Other related subject matter expertise in talent development or workforce planning is also welcome.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Building Enduring Relationships: Skilled in cultivating strong partnerships through exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Able to anticipate needs and deliver customised solutions that enhance satisfaction and foster loyalty, building trust and credibility while ensuring objectives are efficiently achieved.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated capability to analyse complex data, identify trends, and develop strategic solutions.
