Job Description:
Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager for our Banking and Treasury operations. The ideal candidate should possess an MBA in Finance or be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry particularly in hotel, restaurant, or catering businesses. However, candidates from diverse industries with strong experience in liaising with the banking sector and having played a treasury role are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Treasury Management: Oversee and manage the organization's treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and financial risk management.
• Banking Liaison: Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure smooth banking operations and favorable terms for the company.
• Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to optimize the company's financial performance.
• Budgeting and Reporting: Prepare and monitor budgets, financial reports, and forecasts to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Investment Management: Evaluate and manage investment opportunities to maximize returns and minimize risks.
• Compliance and Regulation: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including those specific to the hospitality industry.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, providing financial insights and support to achieve overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
• Education: MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Experience: Preferably 2-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry (hotel, restaurant, or catering businesses). Candidates from diverse industries with significant banking and treasury experience are also suitable.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective liaison with banking partners and internal teams.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the hospitality sector and its financial dynamics is an advantage.
