We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Analyst
What you’ll do:
Developing, deploying and enhancing fraud systems and strategies to protect the business against financial loss
Ensuring fraud analytics and related solutions such as Fraud Risk Controls are operating at optimum effectiveness
Supporting to develop new analytical practices in line with the Global Fraud Analytics
Supporting activities on plastic card, Digital, Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) application systems, with a particular focus on digital payment strategies and portfolios
Participating in fraud related projects, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) to capture requirements and understand the local regulatory environment and platform issues across the regions
Identify opportunities and best practice across Fraud Risk systems that deliver efficiencies
Ad-hoc fraud incident support is required if any
Requirements
What you will need to succeed in the role:
Strong risk management and governance experience including 3 lines of defense criteria
Strong analytical skills, ability to use statistical packages including SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, Python, Visual Basic and SQL
Visualizations tools knowledge like Qliksense, Tableau tools is an added advantage
Ability to analyze big data efficiently, draw conclusions on what the data means and actions required
Familiar with SAS EFM and Instinct software platform and fraud rule writing approaches would be an advantage
Organised with positive drive, tenacity and good influencing
Past working experience in a fraud analytics would be an advantage
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritized.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting.
