New York Interconnect (NYI) - Through a strategic partnership between Altice USA, Charter Communications, and Comcast, the New York Interconnect is among the largest single-market advertising platforms in the United States. We provide advertisers with the ability to reach more than 6.2 million households in the New York DMA using a variety of advanced advertising products, including the ability to place ads on more than 85 cable networks as well as planning and campaign measurement.
Job Summary
The Manager's primary responsibilities are the development of operating and financial plans and the reporting of actual results (versus plan). In addition, the position tracks, reports and analyzes financial and key operating metrics for the assigned business area as well as performs other special projects as needed. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Finance and works closely with business leadership.
Responsibilities
Budget:
Development of strategic and financial aspects of annual budget/ monthly forecast
Work collectively with business leaders to reflect operational and financial goals of the company
Create presentations, which clearly speaks to the financials, strategy, and goals
Month End Close:
Work closely with accounting department to ensure accurate and consistent recording of revenue and expenses
Produce journal entries and ensure entries are entered and posted on a timely manner
Update and review P&L
Analyze and explain monthly variances
Prepare and present various monthly schedules to reflect financial results
Other:
Develop and review ROIs
Assist with commission statements
Develop solutions to deviations to align back with original plan
Work with business leaders to identify saving opportunities and efficiencies
Ensure operating departments are adhering to company policies and procedures
Identify best practices to improve to current workflow and create efficiencies and consistencies across network
Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analysis
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area required.
Five+ years of finance experience
Knowledge of Hyperion Planning/Essbase and Oracle preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities at once and prioritize without jeopardizing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Well-organized and detail oriented.
Collaborative and team-oriented
Proficient knowledge, with proven experience of Microsoft Office applications

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $102,816.00 - $168,912.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
