If you’re a finance professional who thrives on strategy, analysis, and stakeholder engagement, this is your opportunity to make a real impact. As the Capital Markets and Investor Relations Manager, you’ll sit at the centre of conversations that matter - working closely with a broad range of stakeholders across Fonterra and carrying significant responsibility for articulating Fonterra’s value proposition to external stakeholders, including farmer shareholders, Fonterra Shareholders’ Fund unit holders and research analysts.
Fonterra’s equity capital structure is unique, with a restricted market for farmer shareholders and a publicly traded Fund, so you won’t just follow a playbook - you’ll be expected to think critically and develop solutions to ensure the Co-operative’s equity remains liquid, accessible and aligned to support milk supply and member value.
Investor relations here is dynamic, and our equity strategy is evolving, making this the perfect time to join and make your mark. You’ll support the planning and delivery of major unit holder events, such as results announcements and annual meetings - working alongside our Communications and Events teams to ensure every detail reflects our brand and strategy.
This is a technical and strategic role where you’ll dive deep into financial statements, interpret performance drivers, and turn complex data into insights that build investor confidence.
Your work in this role ultimately supports the retention and growth of the Co‑op’s milk supply - a purpose that makes every decision matter.
Mōu | About You
You are a finance professional with a solid foundation in either finance, economics, or accounting, with deep experience in either investor relations, capital markets, corporate finance, or financial analysis. You understand financial markets and equity valuations and are confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
You combine strong business acumen with the ability to see the bigger picture - intuitive, analytical, and commercially savvy. Your communication skills allow you to simplify complexity and tell a compelling story, while your judgment and attention to detail ensure you deliver insights that matter. You thrive in ambiguity and are comfortable shaping solutions within a unique equity structure, where investor relations are dynamic, and the equity strategy is evolving.
