Te Tūranga | The role:
Primarily, this role is accountable for the accurate reporting of RBNZ capital adequacy and internal capital performance metrics in accordance with relevant regulatory frameworks and policies.
This role is also responsible for the delivery of capital analytics and risk-adjusted performance reporting for revenue generating business units.
It will also have a continued focus on delivering enhancements to existing reporting and building up a robust analytical capability to ensure reliability and accuracy of data.
This leadership role will provide guidance and develop talent within an immediate and wider team.
Success in this role is to be seen by business partners as a trusted advisor providing proactive insights that support decision making.

We will be impressed by your expert understanding of RBNZ's credit, market and operational risk capital adequacy requirements and an in depth understanding of banking products.
Attention to detail, ability to interpret and model regulatory requirements, data mining (SQL) experience and expertise as well as your visualisation skills and insights presented within periodic reporting.
A background in Financial Services or large complex organisation will set you up for success and familiarity with financial products and credit/market risk is a real advantage here.
If you are confident communicating and collaborating with others including senior managers and execs, and enjoy a fun, fast-paced work setting you will fit in well with our team.
