JOB DESCRIPTION

Designation: Manager - Chartered Accountant ( Manufacturing Industry Experience only )

Department: Finance & Accounts

Years of Experience - 8-10 Years

Qualification: CA +Graduate

Reporting to Finance & Accounts Head Finance & Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Management

Supervise preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash

Flow).

 Review management reports including MIS and profitability tracking.

 Guide month-end/year-end closing and audit processes in alignment with statutory

requirements.

2. Treasury & Forex Management

 Manage daily cash flow and optimal utilization of working capital.

 Monitor and manage treasury operations including investments, surplus fund management,

and interbranch transfers.

 Liaise with banks and financial institutions to secure cost-effective funding (LCs, SBLCS, ECBS,

CC limits, etc.).

3. Taxation & Compliance

 Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory returns GST, TDS, PF, PT, ESIC, Advance Tax,

and Income Tax and payments there of.

 Supervise GST reconciliation, ITC matching, audit preparation, and representation before

departments as needed.

 Oversee ROC filings, FEMA/RBI compliance (including BOE, EBRC, and FCGPR/FCTRS

wherever applicable).

 Liaison with external consultants and legal advisors for tax assessments and notices.

4. Audit & Risk Management

 Ensure completion of Stock Audit, Statutory and GST audits within timelines.

 Resolve audit observations and implement process improvements for better control and

compliance.

 Monitor suspense accounts, bad debts, and high-risk transactions; ensure reconciliations are

complete.

5. Banking & Documentation

 Oversee preparation and review of CMA data, QIS reports, LC/Bank Guarantee

documentation.

 Coordinate with banks for limits renewal, submission of financials, and compliance

declarations.

 Manage RBI compliance related to export-import transactions (e.g.. BOES, SWIFTs, AD bank

filings).

6. Export/Import Finance.

 Oversee imports including BOEs, customs payments, and duty reconciliations.

 Manage Auditor's certifications, export turnover declarations, and write-off settlements.

7. Leadership & Team Development

 Lead and mentor the finance, accounts, and compliance teams across units.

 Provide strategic financial inputs to senior management for business decision-making.

 Ensure team adherence to timelines and upskilling through process training.

Key Competencies:

1. Deep knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, and compliance regulations.

2. Proven experience in treasury operations and forex risk management.

3. Strong banking network and understanding of credit facilities, trade finance.

4. Ability to manage audits and ensure end-to-end financial hygiene.

5. Excellent leadership, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
