The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) was established in 1999 as an international independent agency to lead a collaborative worldwide movement for doping-free sport. As the global regulatory body, WADA’s primary role is to develop, harmonize and coordinate anti-doping rules and policies across all sports and countries. Our key activities include: scientific and social science research; education; intelligence & investigations; development of anti-doping capacity; and, monitoring of compliance with the World Anti-Doping Program.


POSITION OVERVIEW


Under the supervision of the Associate Director, Compliance Unit, the Manager, Compliance Unit, contributes to certain activities related to WADA’s World Anti-Doping Code (Code) compliance monitoring program.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Review Code Signatory anti-doping rules (rules) and national legislation, decrees, policies and regulations (where relevant) to ensure that they are in line with the Code and the International Standards;
Liaise with compliance colleagues and Code Signatories on amendments required until drafts are considered in line with the Code;
Contribute to the drafting of papers related to compliance of rules and legislation for the independent Compliance Review Committee, WADA’s Executive Committee and Foundation Board;
Contribute to the development and implementation of WADA’s Code compliance monitoring strategy, activities and processes as it relates to rules and legislation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

University degree in law;
Experience in a regulatory environment would be an asset;
Experience in drafting documents of a certain technical nature;
Experience working in an international setting, and in in particular in relation to sport, would be an asset;
Ability to provide accurate analysis and suggesting appropriate solutions to problems encountered;
Ability to multitask and to work accurately under pressure;
Ability to manage and meet deadlines, organize and prioritize work;
Excellent organizational skills;
Attention to detail;
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse environment;
Excellent oral and written skills in one of the two WADA official languages (English/French) and good command of the other official language. Spanish or other languages would be an asset;
Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
Periodic evening and/or weekend work expected;
Fit with organizational culture: Teamwork, team spirit and love of sport;

L’Agence mondiale antidopage (AMA) a été créée en 1999 en tant qu’agence internationale indépendante pour diriger un mouvement collaboratif mondial pour un sport sans dopage. En tant que régulateur de la lutte antidopage dans le monde, le rôle principal de l’AMA est de développer, d’harmoniser et de coordonner les règles et politiques antidopage dans tous les sports et tous les pays. APERÇU DU POSTE


Sous la surveillance du directeur associé, unité de conformité, le responsable, unité de conformité contribue à certaines activités liées au programme de supervision de la conformité au Code mondiale antidopage (le Code) de l’AMA.


LES RESPONSABILITÉS CLÉS

Examiner les règles antidopage des signataires du Code (règles) et la législation, les décrets, les politiques et les règlements nationaux (le cas échéant) pour s’assurer qu’ils sont conformes au Code et aux Standards internationaux;
Assurer la liaison avec les collègues chargés de la conformité et les signataires du Code sur les modifications nécessaires jusqu'à ce que les projets soient considérés conformes au Code;
Contribuer à la rédaction de documents relatifs à la conformité aux règles et à la législation pour le comité de révision de la conformité, le comité exécutif et le conseil de fondation de l'AMA;
Contribuer au développement et à la mise en œuvre de la stratégie, des activités et des processus de contrôle de la conformité au code de l'AMA en ce qui concerne les règles et la législation.
LES QUALIFICATIONS ET LES COMPÉTENCES

Diplôme universitaire en droit;
Expérience dans un environnement réglementaire serait un atout;
Expérience de la rédaction de documents d'une certaine technicité;
Expérience de travail dans un contexte international, et en particulier dans le domaine du sport, serait un atout;
Capacité à fournir une analyse précise et à proposer des solutions appropriées aux problèmes rencontrés;
Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois et à travailler avec précision sous pression;
Capacité à gérer et à respecter les délais, à organiser et à hiérarchiser le travail;
Excellentes compétences organisationnelles;
Souci du détail;
Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et capacité à travailler dans un environnement diversifié;
Excellentes compétences orales et écrites dans l'une des deux langues officielles de l'AMA (anglais/français) et très bonne maîtrise de l'autre langue officielle ; L'espagnol ou d'autres langues seraient un atout;
Maîtrise de la suite MS Office (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel et PowerPoint);
