Now, for the next phase of our growth journey, we need a Technical Content Writer Rockstar who is responsible for creating original and compelling technical content to help educate and inform users and customers about products, services, and solutions.
The Senior Technical Content Writer will work with the product teams, marketing and sales departments to create content that will be used in various formats such as websites, blogs, user manuals, white papers, and press releases.
Key
Responsibilities Include:
Research and develop content for technical documents and materials
Write, edit and proofread web content, press releases, brochures, white papers and other documents
Develop content for technical manuals and other documentation
Develop content for user manuals, help files and other technical documents
Create and maintain technical documents, including product specifications, setup guides and user guides
Produce high-quality content and for graphics and web-based projects
Create and maintain technical documents and content for on-line help systems
Keep up to date with industry standards and trends
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy of technical information
Ensure content meets company standards for quality, accuracy and usability
Work with product teams to ensure accuracy of technical specifications
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field
12+ years of technical writing experience
Proven track record of creating clear, concise, and accurate content
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent research and problem solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of HTML, CSS and other web technologies
Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) techniques
Knowledge of various web publishing and content management systems
