About the Opportunity
The Manager Corporate, Intake and Engagement ensures intake and early resolution functions comply with legislation, policy and procedures. It oversees and supports the team leader in developing and embedding effective processes for non-complex matters. The role develops, implements and maintains systems to manage challenging complainant behaviours.
It also leads business improvement initiatives intake and corporate functions. Additionally, the role will develop reports to monitor workflow, identify issues, and provide recommendations to the Ombudsman and the Deputy Ombudsman.
About the Business
Ombudsman SA is an independent body that investigates complaints regarding South Australian government and local government agencies, conducts audits of these agencies, reviews freedom of information determinations of these agencies, supports the implementation of the Information Sharing Guidelines across government, and receives information about state and local government activities confidentially from whistleblowers.

Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
Some out of hours work may be required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
