Manager (Data Analyst)
Location-Gurgaon
Oyo Rooms, also known as Oyo Homes & Hotels, is an Indian hotel chain. It is the world's third-largest, one of China's top two and the fastest growing hospitality chain of leased and franchised hotels, homes & living spaces. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Make OYO a data driven organization by creating platforms to better access, interpret and use data in driving day-to-day decisions and business functioning
• Provide analysis support on project, new initiatives and strategic decisions. Collaborate with business, product and technology teams to implement projects
• Develop processes for effective data analysis and reporting
• Generate insights for other business and product teams by providing them understandable and actionable reports from data
• Hire and manage team of data analysts
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 6+ years of professional experience in analytics field
• Degree in engineering, statistics, mathematics, computer science or other quantitative areas
• Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Should have deep knowledge of SQL to extract and transform data into meaningful analyses and reports
• Should have extensive experience in data visualization using tools like Tableau/Qliksense/PowerBI/Superset/Metabase
• Should have knowledge of Python/R programming language
GOOD TO HAVE
• Should be able to prioritize in fast-moving complex environment and produce solutions despite complex requirements
• Understanding of big data technology like, Hive, presto etc.
