Position Overview: As a Lead Developer at Genpact, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing our development team, driving the implementation of scalable and robust software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Azure, SQL, Power BI, Python, and Power Apps, with a strong track record of successfully delivering high-quality software projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain data models for various business needs
Design and implement automation projects to streamline data processing and reduce manual effort.
Lead and manage a team of developers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative environment.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and solutions using Azure, SQL, Power BI, Python, and Power Apps.
Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and product owners to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful delivery of solutions.
Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and enforce best practices.
Develop automated data processing pipelines using Python.
Perform data analytics to extract insights and drive business decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver solutions
Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
Troubleshoot and debug production issues related to data models, data pipelines, and automation projects.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data modelling, data analytics, data engineering, and automation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
5-6 years of professional experience as a software developer, with a focus on Azure, SQL, Power BI, Python, and Power Apps.
Strong proficiency in designing and developing cloud-based applications using Azure services.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Expertise in creating visually compelling and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.
Solid programming skills in Python, with experience in developing data pipelines, APIs, and automation scripts.
Familiarity with Power Apps and the ability to develop and customize Power Apps solutions.
Proven experience leading and managing a team of developers, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
