Job Description
The Manager, Email Marketing & Salesforce Marketing Cloud will be the prime owner of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and will be responsible for scaling customer centric marketing automation efforts to drive new customer acquisition, customer engagement/satisfaction, retention, and cross-sell and up sell capabilities. This includes managing the scoping, building, testing and execution of omnichannel marketing automations, evolving Salesforce platform capabilities including new data feeds, machine learning exploitation and third-party plug-ins, managing platform governance and identifying training needs for internal power users
The position will be headquartered in Mumbai, India and will be supported by the Director, Marketing Automation & CRM.
The skills and experience necessary for this role are:
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years + of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Experience of creating and executing lead nurture and activation campaigns, setting Salesforce strategy
• Understanding of lead generation, design tools, content management systems (CMS), and Google analytics
• Debugging skills to identify deliverability issues and correct them
• Highly quantitative, analytical, and a technical self-starter with the ability to create and interpret business projections and financial forecasts.
• Global cultural orientation and working experience, with the proven ability to manage distributed and matrix teams.
• Ability to develop and action new ideas quickly through influence and collaboration. Entrepreneurial spirit a plus.
• Very high level of organizational and time management skills
• Flexibility in competently juggling competing priorities and changing expectations
• Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation
• Fluency in English required, knowledge of additional languages would be useful
