Manager - Event Field Marketing - Marketplace

We are looking for an experienced Event Field Marketing Manager to join our team and help execute our Marketplace events strategy. The Event Field Marketing Manager is a cross functional role that will focus on establishing connections with target audiences and use experiential marketing to generate interest in Walmart Marketplace's products, services, and brand. They will work closely with both the GTM and sales operations teams to generate and track qualified leads, craft detailed marketing campaigns, and maximize event ROI for optimal revenue impact. They will work together with the Event Manager to define event goals and metrics, including targeted lead flow to maximize pipeline generation and acceleration.

You will make an impact by:
• Identify and attend relevant industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote Walmart Marketplace and drive business expansion.
• Create and manage event marketing campaigns that promote products or services and align them with brand and broader event goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design creative activations and experiences that resonate with potential and existing sellers focusing on business development, product adoption, and brand awareness.
• Act as a brand ambassador, engaging with potential sellers and partners to highlight the value of joining Walmart Marketplace. Facilitate meetings and discussions during events to understand their business needs and present Walmart Marketplace as a growth solution.
• Engage with sellers on-site, understanding their needs, answering questions, and presenting the value of joining Walmart Marketplace.
• Utilize customer events to improve product knowledge, upsell new products, and increase brand-to-customer face time.
• Qualify and manage leads by providing specific content for nurture campaigns or even reach out to leads directly when needed.
• Track, capture, and manage leads generated during events, ensuring they are properly documented in CRM system post event.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer success teams to implement a lead nurturing strategy that includes timely follow-ups and targeted communication.
• Monitor lead progress and engagement to identify opportunities for further relationship-building and conversion.
• Develop compelling event content and materials that highlight the benefits of selling on Walmart Marketplace.
• Work with the creative team to design interactive and engaging booths, product demos, presentations, and promotional assets for events.
• Tell the brand story through various types of event and non-event content, including emails, landing pages, webinars, case studies, and blog posts
• Track event performance metrics, analyze data, and provide insights to improve future event strategies.

You'll sweep us off our feet if...
• You have 6+ years in event marketing, field marketing, or a similar role, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.
• You are experienced using Salesforce or other Marketing/CRM solutions
• You bring a track record of managing event marketing growth strategies (in a B2B setting preferred)
• You are a confident communicator with strong analytical and writing skills
• You have experience working with BD teams and a strong understanding of how event marketing supports business KPIs
• Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to inform future event strategies.
• You have strong project management, negotiation skills and organization skills
• You bring vendor management experience
• You are willing to travel for events and team meetings, as needed
• Experience in retail, ecommerce an added plus
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Sunnyvale, California US-0847+/San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00-$202,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
