Basic Functions/Job Responsibility
Event Producer - Content & Marketing
As an event producer, you will take full ownership of conceptualizing, strategizing, and executing key annual conferences done by the team Konnect. A large part of this role entails generating rich and topical content, building and nurturing relationships with senior-level executives, and cross-functional collaboration.
Work with the team to make sure the content put out is top class, with best in class storytellers for each of the conversations.
Must Have Skills
• Experience in writing business content.
• An experimental mindset, open to exploring disruptive ideas to make each event different.
• Experience in having discussions with CXO level executives.
• Experience in Marketing events via various platforms and tools.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel and ppt) is a must.
Skills Good to Have
• Knowledge of IT sector.
• Aware of the technological trends of the future.
• Marketing automation experience.

• Rich content curation
• Theme formulation
• Writing a Concept note
• Agenda building - constantly experimenting with new formats.
• Effective interaction with industry leaders to make sure content is rich and relevant.
• Speaker outreach
• Research on interesting global and Indian thought leaders.
• Invite and manage the speakers through the event.
• Have a good mix of global and Indian thought leaders.
• Timely communication to speakers on their engagement.
Marketing
• Work on conceptualizing, designing, and curating social content for the website.
• Keep the website updated with social streams.
• Design the content for e-mailers, maintain a tracker and timely send out mailers to our databases.
• Draw up post-event analytics report.
• Focus on market research and incorporate customer feedback into the overall positioning strategy.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience
• Experience in organizing B2B industry events.
• Extremely strong writing and content skills.
• Ability to leverage technology for effective communication to all stakeholders.
• Very strong communication skills, critical thinking and analytical ability.
• Interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Knowledge and ability to leverage social media through effective use of Blogs, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social networks and forums.
• Experience or Knowledge of the IT industry.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Grad MBA & 8-10 years in industry
