Manager - Finance & Accounts (BPO)
• Responsible for the financial accounting function of the company, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and applicable regulatory compliance which have a bearing on the operations
Key Responsibilities:
• To ensure that accounts are maintained uptodate and required information on income, expense, debtors, creditors and cash position is available at all times to help efficient management of the operations.
• Key process owner responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the books of account and the financial information generated.
• To ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations in the accounting operations of the unit.
• Allocation of costs to the appropriate Expense Centers.
• Preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reconciliation of intercompany payables and receivables.
• Responsible for capitalization of assets and computation of depreciation.
• Key process owner for financial audits.
• Participate in preparation of management and statutory accounts.
• Supervise the accounts payable team and provide them with appropriate leadership including guidance on withholding taxes, service tax and all other regulatory activities.
• Filing of all statutory returns within the due dates and ensuring the compliance under applicable acts are complied.
• Key process owner responsible for ensuring that all the Financial Control Standards are followed.
Collaborate with other Corporate Services teams like Facilities, HR and IT in day to day activities.
Qualification And Experience:
i. CA or CWA or MBA Finance with Minimum 10+ Years of Service Industry experience preferable in Captive Units
ii. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
iii. Good communication skills
iv. Proficient in basic accounting systems
v. Experience in using ERP systems
vi. Previous supervisory experience
