Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable management insights.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the development, management, and monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts.
- Analyze budget variances, providing recommendations for corrective actions to ensure financial targets are met.
Tax Compliance and Planning:
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax liabilities and enhance financial performance.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Auditing:
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate efficient and comprehensive audits.
Financial Planning and Strategy:
- Provide strategic financial planning and risk management advice to senior leadership.
- Develop financial models and conduct scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
Cost Management and Efficiency:
- Oversee cost management initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement financial best practices across the organization.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate financial results and insights clearly and effectively to senior management, board members, and other stakeholders.
- Prepared and delivered comprehensive financial reports and presentations at board meetings.
Investment and Fund Management:
- Evaluate investment opportunities and manage corporate funds to ensure optimal returns and liquidity.
- Develop and monitor investment strategies aligned with company objectives.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and performance.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
- Minimum of 1+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles, preferably within a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
