Process Overview
Global Banking & Markets provides operations support to back office and middle office operations related to various banking products like GLP, Trade, Deposits & other market related products e.g. securities, derivatives, futures, options, currencies (fx) and commodities.. The capabilities hosted include Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Trade Processing & settlement, Inventory Management, Cash Management, Asset Services, Collateral Management, Reconciliation, Deal Accounting, Client & Product Data.
Job Description
Individual will be a contributing member of the Global banking & Markets (GBAM) Finance team. He/ she will drive productivity & accuracy, and generate client satisfaction by providing operational excellence for a wide array of financial planning, analysis & accounting related activities using emerging technology tools like Tableau/Alteryx. Also would be required to have good understanding and hands-on experience in Reconciliation, invoicing, Deal Accounting & good knowledge of Investment Banking products.
Responsibilities
• Supporting Finance Packs by collecting the information from Business data requirements and its related transformations
• Good accounting knowledge & hands-on experience in reconciliation, invoicing, provisioning
• Experience in Database Modeling and ability to transform large dataset from MS Access/Excel to Tableau and Alteryx
• Working knowledge of VBA.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Tableau and establishing Alteryx workflows
• Translate stakeholder’s requirement into reporting deliverables
• Promote continues improvements to improve the quality and accuracy of data and processes, issue management and process efficiency
• Manage relationship with senior business/Onshore Partners
Requirements
Education
Graduate /Post Graduate/ CA//CPA/Management Accountant/MBA. Preference would be given to candidates who have have good accountiong knowledge and flair towards emerging tech tools.
Certifications If Any
Experience Range
• Should be ready to work as an Individual Contributor
• 6-10 years of total experience in accounting, reporting, reconciliation. Further designing, coding and supporting complex database applications will be preferred.
• Programming experience using SQL, Access database, Query Writing, strong understanding of Alteryx and Tableau will be an added advantage.
• Experience with financial reporting and analytics & senior stakeholder management
Foundational skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment such as lack of well-defined procedures and
changing work mix
• Ability to independently communicate with senior leaders in the business
Desired Skills
• Demonstrates a positive attitude while focusing on completing tasks or goals
• A good team player

Shift Window: Any + hours within the shift window starting 7:30– 21:30
