6. Role Summary: As Head of HR of a greenfield factory ofITC's Personal Care Business being set up in Kolkata, to set the tone for ER andHR at the factory to leverage the potential of human resources for higherproductivity, greater quality and cost consciousness and harmonious industrialrelations.
7. Principalduties and responsibilities:
Project :
a.To anchor the design and roll-out of peoplestructure, HR systems and processes in the Unit
b.To anchor the sourcing, onboarding, training anddeployment of resources in the Unit
c.To anchor compensation design, benchmarking, androll-out for the unit employees
d.To prepare and condition the factory forimplementing new HR systems, including HRMS
Ongoing:
e.To anchor key HR processes such as: StatutoryCompliance, Workforce planning, Recruitment Selection, WageAdministration, Performance Management, HR Budget Management, CapabilityBuilding & Development, Reports & Compliances, Employee Engagement,Welfare & Communication, Employee Discipline, Exit Management, ContractLabour Management
f.To ensure a gender diverse workforce and alignfactory culture & systems to enable the same
g.To drive a performance-driven culture at theunit for operational deliveries
h.To develop cordial harmonious industrialrelations for greater operational effectiveness, and drive change managementinitiatives for driving business goals
i.To identify potential people related issues andvisualize alternate scenarios for those issues
j.To proactively and positively liaise with local statutoryand government authorities as well as environment and build stakeholderrelations, including driving CSR efforts in the area
k.To anchor OD interventions for managers in theUnit
