Senior Manager, Software Development/
Engineering The Team:
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled engineering lead for Market Intelligence. We strive to deliver solutions that are sector-specific, data-rich, and hyper-targeted for evolving business needs. Our Software development managers are involved in the full product life cycle, from design through release.
You will be expected to participate in the design review process, write high-quality code, and work with a dedicated team of QA Analysts, Business Analysts, and Infrastructure Teams.
The Impact:
Market Intelligence is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Development to lead teams working on creating software design, development, and maintenance for systems.
This person would be working closely with development team(s) that manages and supports the internal & external applications that is supporting the business portfolio.
This role expects a candidate to handle any data processing, big data application development.
We have teams made up of people that learn how to work effectively together while working with the larger group of developers on our platform.

Set and maintain a level of excitement in using various technologies to develop, support, and iteratively deploy real enterprise level software.
Ensure adherence of software engineering practices and implement automation across all elements of solution delivery. Ability to understand complex architecture & design. Deliver solutions within a multi-functional Agile team. Develop expertise in our proprietary enterprise software products. Achieve an understanding of customer environments and their use of the products. Technical Leads will be expected to build solutions, architecture, algorithms, and designs which scale to the customer's enterprise/global requirements.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience of leading team(s) and projects Proven experience of application development experience with deep understanding of Design Patterns & Object-oriented programming.
Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills. Ability to analyze and resolve performance issues through various techniques including testing, debugging and profiling. Strong OOAD & Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) knowledge. Hands on development experience using C#, .Net 4.0/4.5, JAVA, WPF, Asp.
Net, SQL server.
Strong understanding of Cloud enabled applications (Containers, Dockers etc.) Exposure to Data Engineering & Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark/Scala, Nifi & ETL will be plus.
Familiarity with enabling DevOps on enterprise application suite, will be a plus.
Possess a true "roll up the sleeves and get it done" working approach; demonstrated success as a problem solver, operating as a client-focused self-starter.
