Job Description:
Planning resource allocation for each project and managing each capital raise project diligently, monitoring the progress.
Manage your team with constant work allocation, checking and monitoring the work and ensuring performance by all team members.
Checking the work done by staff and ensuring compliance of company’s goals and activities.
Submit MIS reports of the progress on all projects every week to the Management.
Submit a monthly MIS report to the Management.
Understanding key commercial, strategic, and financial strengths and weaknesses of the companies to identify key investment rationales.
Prepare detailed Information Memorandum Board Presentations for investors’ presentations.
Coordinate with entrepreneurs for collection of information and guiding them on presentation quality, run mock drills of presentation and FAQs.
Understanding nuances of letter of interest / MOU / term sheets. Explaining the companies of the terms.
Evaluate various prospective transactions in terms of - “Valuation” “Deal Structure” and “Terms and Conditions”.
Assist in Due Diligence process management, coordinate with financial advisors conducting due diligence and legal advisors for agreement drafting.
Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRA):
Deal Sourcing
Working to generate deals individually or through the company’s various databases and analysts.
Deal Evaluation and Documentation
Evaluate potential deals, negotiate commercial terms that are viable and prepare all relevant documentation with analysts and outsourced staff.
Selling to Investors
Shortlist viable investors.
Reach out and sell the project to investors and convince the value proposition to the Investors.
Generate second, third tier conversations and visits.
Negotiation, Documentation and Closing
Secure term sheet.
Support all due diligence.
Assist in shareholder agreements and negotiate the valuation.
Close the transaction.
Key Performance Areas:
Target Revenue Generation.
Deal Closure for clients.
Hiring the best and competent staff for the company.
Compliance of ethics and values to build a lifetime relationship culture of the company.
Educational Qualifications:
CA / CFA / MBA (Finance)
Experience: 5 + Years
Candidate with prior experience in Investment Banking will be an added advantage
