8 to 10 years of experience in full SDLC in Telco BSS & OSS, Billing, CRM, Online and Mediation environments.
• Experience of System, System Integration and Regression testing of Telco systems with complex user interfaces
• Experience of Web service like XML, SOAP / REST, WSDL XSD etc.
• Experience of testing CRM, ordering, sales, self-care applications and WAP portals in a Telco environment
• Hands on testing experience and knowledge of BSS systems CSM / CRM, UPS / OMS, HA, IVR, Mediation, MPS / Rating, AR, Billing, Campaign Management
• Understanding of CRM journeys in Telecom domain for the customer.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Unix
• Working knowledge of Unix, Postman, Putty, WinSCP, Toad, SQL Developer, etc.
• Scripting knowledge JavaScript / Perl / Rust / HTML / VBScript / Shell
• Troubleshooting & debugging skills for error handling and analysis
• Experience in Test & Incident Management Tools like ALM, JIRA, RQM, Remedy, etc.
• Preferably should have experience of test automation set up and related tools.
• Knowledge of structured test methods, tools, and processes.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities :
• Participation in Requirement Analysis and understanding, both functional and technical
• Having view of system architecture & interfaces
• Regular communication with development team, project management, system / solution architect for requirement understanding and query clarifications
• Develop & execute test scenarios of system integration level
• System Request / Response Tags / attribute / Flag / Code / APN
• System interactions / interfaces method, event, object, webservice, API, XML, etc.
• File transfer protocols SFTP, FTP, etc.
• Status update of the request in the DB Tables & verification of request tasks creation in the Database
• Verification / checks in middleware for interactions between IT applications
• Detailed database level checks
• Identify input test data, and expected results for one or more test work packages, as specified in the scope of the project
• Reviews and rework of Testing artifacts (test scenarios, test cases, etc.) with multiple development and project management teams
• Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures, including set up of test automation for recurring and sanity scenarios
• Ability to execute and trace backend Scripts / tasks / jobs / Module / batch
• Execute Test Cases and report the test results
• Record Defects in accordance with the project's Defects management process.
• Work with the development team (defect resolver team) to resolve any defect that arises out of the testing process by.
• Reproducing the reported issue
• Providing relevant log traces of the error
• Database level records / references indicating the error
• Retest the defect fixes and confirm the closure of open defects.
• Inform the test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing processes
• Coordination of stakeholders as per the project / Release requirement
