Summary of Position:
Alcon is looking to hire Learning and Training Manager for Alcon Global Services (AGS), India. As a Learning and Training Manager (Development Partner), you will be responsible for developing training curriculum/materials, selecting appropriate delivery mechanisms, delivering training, and monitoring training effectiveness
for the general workforce and for targeted areas.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Assessing AGS training and development needs related to functional (including specific system trainings and requirements) and soft skills.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
• Working with functions in AGS center, locally in developing functional training roadmaps and conducting training needs analysis
• Collaborating with other Training Managers in AGS centers to drive global alignment for development programs and relevant frameworks.
• Conducting various employee development trainings (as per Global, Regional HR programs / guidelines)
• Handling end-to-end training logistics - budgets, nominations, programs, feedback.
• Planning and organizing events for Work Life Integration activities.
• Culture development- Ideation & execution of creative ways of engagement for millennial audience in AGS to drive better employee satisfaction in close partnership with HRBP, Functional managers etc.
• Responsible for site level rewards & recognition program implementation and tracking for closure.
Qualification or Experience:
• Learning and Development: Passionate about training and development and associate engagement. Previous experience facilitating associate development programs (intermediate to advanced facilitation skills) and coaching to assist associates in reaching their full potential).
• Communication in Matrix Global Organization: Communicating effectively and in a matrix global organization; build relationships and interact with all levels of management and associates.
• Change Management: Adapting to and leading organizational change: can navigate ambiguous situations to deliver results and manage through change.
• Self-starter: Work independently as well as collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders while balancing competing priorities.
• Analytical: Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive decision-making.
• Creative: The ability to think outside the box and bring creative and relevant solutions to the organization.
Work hours: 10 AM to 6 PM IST
