Position: Manager – Legal & Compliance
Qualification: CS,LLB
Experience: 4 to 6 years
Location: Mumbai
Job description
Responsibilities:
• Implement and manage an effective legal and statutory compliance system
• Ensuring compliance of applicable legal provisions and internal guidelines
• Knowledge / experience of working in Trusts will be an added advantage
• Drafting / Review of legal documents such as MOU, Agreements, Undertakings, etc.
• Exposure to real estate / property due diligence, documentation is an added advantage
• Handle Secretarial Compliances and records e.g.
• Notice, Agenda and minutes of meetings
• Monitoring implementation of decisions taken and directions given
• Periodic / event based filings with regulatory authorities
• Need based guidance to other departments on legal matters
• Ensuring timely renewal of licenses, AMCs, registrations, etc. by concerned departments
• Co-ordination with regulatory authorities as and when necessary
Expected Credentials:
• Degree in law of a recognised University
• Candidates having Executive / Intermediate Programme of ICSI have an added advantage
• Post qualification work experience of at least 3 years in a similar role
• Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures
• Good verbal and written communication / drafting skills
• Analytical bent of mind with attention to detail.
