Job Description
KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Working Capital to join our Performance Transformation group within the Deal Advisory and Strategy practice.
Responsibilities:
• Steer working capital engagements, such as order to cash, procure to pay, and supply chain or inventory optimization, as well as corporate performance improvement projects from inception to completion. This includes defining scopes, budgets, staffing resources, generating data requests, conducting client workshops, coordinating final deliverables, and assisting with result presentations.
• Act as the project manager ensuring effective problem formulation, hypothesis generation, thorough analysis to test hypotheses, and resolution of issues.
• Oversee KPMG work teams throughout the project lifecycle and serve as the primary interface with various levels of executives and team members.
• Lead the team to generate valuable insights aligned with the client's strategic and financial goals, identifying the underlying value proposition while challenging the client's short- and long-term working capital and cash flow management objectives through structured data analysis to pinpoint operational risks, efficiencies, or other opportunities.
• Assist in proposal development and other business development activities by leveraging both new and existing relationships with C-level executives across corporate and private equity clients.
• Foster the professional growth of team members.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of five years of recent experience in a client-facing role at a Big 4 firm, major strategy firm, or boutique firm focusing on working capital, order to cash, procure to pay, or supply chain and inventory cash flow or operational performance.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university; Master's degree in business administration is preferred.
• Experience in at least one consulting area related to working capital: transaction and business due diligence, operational and performance improvement, strategic growth, or other relevant strategy experience.
• Proven ability to assess, improve, and redesign business processes and functional organizations, with an emphasis on implementation, coupled with a solid understanding of financial analysis, business strategy, and supply chain optimization.
• Strong performance improvement skillset, able to derive strategic insights from analyzing working capital performance, with a comprehensive understanding of operations and post-deal value creation.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship at any time, now or in the future.
