Job Description

The Role Responsibilities
• Embed the Group's Values and Group Code of Conduct in the daily process and ensure adherence with the highest standards of ethics, complying with relevant policies, processes and regulations.
• Engage with credit, legal, compliance, XVA, front office, middle office and margining teams to resolve margin disputes and issues concerning the accuracy of margin calls.
• Ensure tasks are carried out within policies and procedures avoiding costs due to delays, compensation claims and operational losses.
• Own your career, seek feedback to continuously improve and innovate while utilizing the firm's internal resources.
• Ensure effective handling of daily BAU and booking of margin movements in collateral management system.
• Challenge existing process and continuously seek opportunity to improve processes and controls.
• Ensure timely completion, maintenance and renewal of DOI, R&R and SLA documents.
• Participate in business prioritization, UAT tests and post implementation check.
• Participate in process deep dive review with Risk and control functions.
• Actively participate in BCP events such DR drill and call tree tests.
• Ensure cordial relationship with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Effectively handle client queries, issues and complains.
• Adherence to key processes and control requirement.
• Timely completion of OJT and mandatory learnings.
• Guide and train new joiners.

Regulatory and Business Conduct

• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
• Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.

Our Ideal Candidate
• 5 years of working experience in Operations Risk, Collateral Management, Middle office and banking operations.
• Sound understanding of the functioning of various asset classes, Trade Life Cycle, FO and MO functions and front to bank processing.
• Sounds knowledge of industry platforms like 'Acadiasoft, Tri-Resolve, Bloomberg, Reuters, IM Exposure Manager, etc.
• Expert understanding of OTC Derivative, MTM valuation, Margining, ISDA / CSA, Repo and SBL and Trade sensitivities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, senior management and other stakeholders within the organisation.
• Understanding of margin and portfolio reconciliation requirements under Doff-Frank, EMIR, HKMA, MAS, etc.
• Proven ability to support identification of operational risks and to suggest control enhancements.
• Excellent written and spoken communication, good team player and self-motivated.
• High level of PC literacy with a strong understanding of Microsoft Products.
• Knowledge of operational processes, operational risks and controls.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
