Position Summary :

The Manager I, Media & Web Content, is responsible for overseeing the development, execution, and optimization of digital content across web and media channels. This role ensures that digital assets, including website content, promotional materials, and online media, align with brand messaging, Search Engine Optimization ( SEO ) strategies, and overall marketing objectives . The position requires expertise in content strategy, digital marketing, and cross-functional collaboration to drive customer engagement and optimize digital performance.

What You Will Do:

Content Development & Optimization


Lead the development, curation, and optimization of high-quality content, ensuring brand consistency, user-centric design, and adherence to digital best practices.
Serve as the primary liaison with external agencies for media asset development, ensuring seamless collaboration, timely execution, and brand consistency.
Act as the ADUSA point of contact for product team support, facilitating communication and content updates.
Partner with internal copywriters, designers, category managers, and external content providers to develop engaging and impactful content.
Ensure marketing content is delivered with clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all digital platforms.
Routinely analyze and improve content performance based on customer behavior insights, A/B testing, and competitive benchmarking.


Performance Measurement & Reporting


Collaborate with the Strategy Manager to define audiences and establish campaign Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Analyze key performance metrics and generate scorecard reports to assess content effectiveness, audience engagement, and conversion impact.
Optimize campaigns based on data insights, enhancing engagement and conversion rates.
Continuously refine web and media KPIs based on data insights, industry trends, and evolving business objectives.
Advocate for content investment by showcasing content-driven performance improvements and Return On Investment (ROI).


Quality Assurance & Compliance


Oversee website go-live and quality assurance processes, ensuring content accuracy and optimal user experience.
Conduct routine site audits to identify content gaps, errors, and optimization opportunities.
Maintain compliance with brand standards, digital accessibility requirements, and regulatory guidelines to ensure a seamless and inclusive user experience.
Maintain content governance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement


Partner with IT, eCommerce, and marketing teams to ensure website content updates align with business goals.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in content workflow, asset management, and publication schedules.
Work with analytics teams to measure content effectiveness and refine strategies based on data-driven insights.


Team Development


Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, content innovations, and emerging technologies.
Performs other duties as assigned.



What You Will Bring:


Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in digital content strategy, website management, and SEO optimization.
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), Google Analytics, and SEO tools.
Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and omnichannel content strategies.
Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience in retail or eCommerce digital marketing.
Familiarity with UX/UI best practices and website optimization techniques.
Knowledge of content automation and personalization strategies.


Salary: $99,825 - $133,100

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include, but are not limited to, responsibilities of the role, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable law. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

This position will be on-site at the Giant Food Headquarters in Hyattsville, MD.
