Job description
- The Manager MICE Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions.
- This role involves coordinating all aspects of MICE events from inception to completion, ensuring they meet the client's expectations and align with the company's standards of service.
- The Manager will lead a team, manage budgets, and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional MICE experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute detailed project plans for MICE events.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and objectives.
- Manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation.
- Ensure all event activities comply with local regulations and company policies.
- Lead and motivate a team of event coordinators and support staff.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and address any issues.
- Prepare and manage budgets for MICE events.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure events stay within budget.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Identify and select vendors for event services.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
- Ensure vendors deliver quality services on time and within budget.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes, including financial performance and client feedback.
- Use insights to refine and improve future MICE operations
