Responsibilities

Overview: The Manager of Events and Strategic Partnerships is responsible for generating a steady inflow of enterprise inbound leads by planning and executing high-impact (largely virtual) B2B events and strategic partnerships that drive brand awareness and engagement

This role requires strong strategic vision, goal-orientation, project management, organization and backwards planning, creativity, and relationship-building skills

The role is integral to achieving EcoEnclose’s customer acquisition growth, community building and impact goals

Identify ideal strategic partnerships that align with EcoEnclose’s target customer profile, and support our goals for customer acquisition, product innovation, and revenue growth

Outreach to potential strategic partners and develop mutually beneficial strategies and agreements with these organizations

Maintain in-depth, long-term relationships with key strategic partners

2 Joint Go-to-Market Initiatives:

Collaborate with strategic partners to design and execute joint go-to-market strategies, including but not limited to: co-hosted events, cross-promotional activities, list sharing, and more

The goal of these strategies is to generate enterprise inbound leads

Ensure the leads generated through these initiatives are tracked and seamlessly moved to the business development team, and where relevant, to our sustainability and/or sales teams for conversion into meetings, opportunities, or long-term nurturing

Execute negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms and mutually beneficial outcomes

Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring all legal and business requirements are met

4 Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Track and analyze interested, qualified leads, and opportunities generated weekly

Assess performance of events and partnerships, using data and analysis to continuously improve our efforts and execution

Share data weekly with manager and senior leadership

Learning Series and Event Management:

Develop and execute a virtual event strategy, including webinars and other formats, that engage the right individuals from our target brands

Oversee logistics and agency management to ensure seamless execution of events

Work closely with sustainability, digital, business development and ad agencies to promote events, attract the right attendees, and generate leads

Ensure the leads generated through virtual events are tracked and seamlessly handed off to sales, sustainability and/or business development for conversion into opportunities (or long-term nurturing)

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sustainability, product, business development, sales and leadership teams, to ensure events build on our brand, promote our expertise, and align with our overall business goals

Manage and engage with event speakers and experts to create valuable content that builds EcoEnclose’s reputation as thought leaders and packaging partners

Establish 5-10 strategic partnerships by the end of 2025, and execute on 2-3 marketing initiatives with each

Virtual events are held no less than monthly (at least 12 in 2025)

Together, these strategies generate 375 inbound leads in 2025

Overview: The Manager of Events and Strategic Partnerships is responsible for generating a steady inflow of enterprise inbound leads by planning and executing high-impact (largely virtual) B2B events and strategic partnerships that drive brand awareness and engagement. Key Responsibilities:Strategic Partnership Management:

1 Partnership Development and Management:

• Identify ideal strategic partnerships that align with EcoEnclose’s target customer profile, and support our goals for customer acquisition, product innovation, and revenue growth.

• Outreach to potential strategic partners and develop mutually beneficial strategies and agreements with these organizations. Maintain in-depth, long-term relationships with key strategic partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in operations, marketing, business, or a related field; MBA preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in partnership management in a B2B environment, or in executing joint marketing or sales initiatives.

• Proven track record of executing on mutually beneficial partnerships

• Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills.

• Ability to use technology systems to manage work, track results, and nurture leads. Comfort with adopting technology systems and enhancing them to meet your specific workflow is a plus.

• Ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders to achieve business goals.
