PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis is primary responsible for driving operational financial planning and developing a consistent methodology for financial modeling that will be used for strategic investment decisions, revenue diversification, and driving all top-line financial analytics for potential business development opportunities and new product development.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting processes for the business function including the identification and investigation of financial and non-financial targets
• Provide strategic direction and decision support on the business' most critical investments and priorities.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination between the business and cost accounting groups to support our business goals.· Lead the long-range plan, budget, tracking and reporting processes.
• Partner closely with senior business and functional leadership to identify opportunities and key performance indicators to improve business performance.
• Using Enhance performance tracking to drive focus on the most meaningful metrics and priorities.
• Lead the analysis of current and past trends in key performance indicators and provide insights into variances between actual and expected financial results; develop financial insights that are clear, compelling and actionable to drive awareness of business and financial results.
• Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement across the FP&A function· Program manage the effective implementation of QAD· Brainstorming with peers to generate business improvement and strategic initiatives based on information generated through the accounting function.
• Ensuring, along with sales and operations leaders, that deliverable financial metrics meet the expectations of JSP Corporate by identifying commonalities and ways to produce synergies· Participating in plant visits, attending business planning meetings and strategy reviews;
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, math, or business.
• A minimum of eight years in financial related leadership positions with at least four years within a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated skills in business analytics to translate reporting into actionable decision support and recommendations
• Working knowledge of the financial services industry and ERP systems, (preferably QAD)
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the organization
• Comfortable leading discussions and being in front of large groups
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Chart of accounts/General ledger, Reporting: cash flow, profit and loss, and Audit and control
• Ability to travel up to 25% per year.
• Strong influencing and communication skills; able to navigate strategic intentions and complex business data to demonstrate compelling benefits to multiple stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker and idea generator with the ability to prioritize, delegate and execute complex project work and responsibilities.
LEADERSHIP/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:

This position works across departments to implement initiatives as directed by the President and CEO.

PHYSICAL CONSIDERATIONS:

Ability to hear, talk, stand, sit, bend, climb, stoop. Must be able to think rationally, read, write and express thoughts. Ability to use mechanical and electrical equipment and handle a reasonable amount of stress.
