Manager of Related Services |Southern Maryland Campus|
The Manager, Related Services monitors and manages related services issues across clinical disciplines for the assigned campus. The incumbent is a clinician who coordinates all related services staff documentation procedures, including documentation of services, log notes, progress reporting, and issues related to Individualized Education Program (IEP) mandated services, and oversees all audits, assigning service providers to participate in their area of expertise. This position will report on all changes to law and regulation that affect the delivery and monitoring of IEP mandated services.
• Provide administrative supervision of related service providers and/or discipline seniors on assigned campus.
• Collaborate with the Admissions Compliance and Transition (ACT) office to ensure compliance with Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) and discipline-specific regulations for the delivery of school-based clinical services.
• Maintain updated knowledge of federal, state, local, and discipline-specific regulations in clinical policies, recordkeeping, and service delivery.
• Communicate, coordinate, and facilitate regular meetings and correspondence with related services discipline representatives at assigned campus and across other Kennedy Krieger School programs.
• Maintain contact with Institute discipline directors as appropriate and needed.
• Collaborate with the Business Office to prepare and participate in audits.
• Coordinate the ongoing procedural components of internal and external audit processes, to include, but not limited to, preparation, analysis and dissemination of results.
• Maintain ongoing communication with senior administration regarding the status and impact of related services policies and procedures. Provide reports to administration as requested.
Must possess and maintain appropriate clinical licensure for relevant discipline in the State of Maryland.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree or higher, as required for licensure in relevant clinical discipline, required.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum five years of licensed experience in relevant clinical discipline required.
