Job description
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven MICE Sales Manager with 4-8 years of experience to join our team. The role will focus on both client acquisition (new business) and client management (existing accounts) within the MICE segment.
Key responsibilities:
• Identify, prospect and acquire new clients for MICE services (corporate meetings, incentive trips, conferences, exhibitions).
• Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to maximise repeat business and build loyalty.
• Understand client requirements, design tailored event proposals and collaborate with operations to deliver flawless execution.
• Achieve and exceed revenue targets and KPIs set for MICE sales.
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, finance) to ensure seamless sales-to-delivery transition.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts and pipeline updates to senior management.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity and identify opportunities for business growth.
Required experience & skills:
• 4 to 8 years of experience in MICE sales (client acquisition + account management) in hospitality, event-management or a similar environment.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in the MICE domain.
• Strong client-facing, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple accounts/projects simultaneously, with high attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, energetic and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office / CRM tools; familiarity with event-management platforms will be an advantage
