Job Description
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Simulation & Education to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge clinical education and simulation programs. This is a five-year, grant-funded position supporting innovative clinical education and training initiatives.

What You’ll Do:
Develop and implement clinical education programs, training competencies, and evidence-based simulation scenarios
Create and evaluate tools to measure learning outcomes and clinical practice improvements
Manage the nurse residency program and specialized fellowships
Oversee daily operations of the simulation lab, including budgeting and resource planning
Maintain and evolve professional practice outcome measures for quality, safety, and advancement
Apply adult learning theory and contemporary educational strategies, including online learning
Support Magnet® or Pathway to Excellence® readiness through shared governance and staff engagement
What We’re Looking For:
Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
Professional certification in a relevant specialty (or willingness to obtain within 3 years)
NYS RN license preferred
3–5 years of experience in management and staff education
Demonstrated experience with simulation and online education
Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and clinical competency models
Experience with Magnet or Pathway to Excellence standards preferred
Informatics and NDNQI experience highly desirable
Collaborative, innovative, and committed to continuous improvement in nursing education
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
