Perioperative Manager
A leading, patient-centered healthcare organization is in search of a dedicated Perioperative Manager to oversee surgical services. This is an impactful leadership role ideal for a seasoned professional with comprehensive experience in perioperative care, a passion for enhancing patient outcomes, and the ability to navigate a dynamic environment.
Position Highlights:
• Competitive compensation: $192K - $288K (DOE) plus bonus potential and relocation support
• Oversight of a thriving perioperative program featuring 7 operating rooms, including robotic surgery
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday with potential weekend responsibilities
• Leadership for a team of 50 FTEs with robust charge nurse support
• Collaborative, physician-aligned environment with cutting-edge surgical capabilities (robotics, ortho, spine, bariatrics, and more)
• Opportunity to enhance staffing stability, improve operational efficiency, and drive program growth
What You Will Do:
• Manage daily surgical operations, ensuring the delivery of efficient and high-quality patient care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and clinical teams to optimize processes and patient outcomes
• Mentor, develop, and engage staff while fostering a cohesive team culture
• Lead process improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to regulatory standards
• Oversee staffing, budget management, and performance metrics for the department
Ideal Background:
• 8-10 years of RN surgical service experience, with a minimum of 6+ years in leadership roles
• Active California RN license prior to start date
• Strong operational and clinical expertise in surgical services
• Demonstrated leadership skills, a track record in workflow enhancement, and change management
• Experience with regulatory standards, quality initiatives, and performance improvement efforts
