Job Title: Manager, Ontario Projects and Partnerships

Location: Hybrid - CPF Ontario Branch Office at 103- 2055 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, ON, L4X 1M2.

Employment: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) from April 6th, 2026, to June 30th, 2027.

Compensation: ($65,000 – $78,000) annually and benefits after 3-months.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Canadian Parents for French is a nationwide, research-informed, volunteer organization that represents members across Canada. With 10 Branches and Offices and over 100 local community Chapters across the country, we support French as a Second Language (FSL) through programs and advocacy.


POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Manager, Ontario Projects and Partnerships leads the planning, promotion, and delivery of provincial programs, events, and partnership initiatives in Ontario. The role includes project coordination, event logistics, budget management, stakeholder relations, and collaboration with colleagues across the CPF Network.


The Manager’s main responsibilities are:

Plan and deliver provincial programs, events, and presentations.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and logistics.
Build relationships with partners, vendors, presenters, and stakeholders.
Coordinate venues, contracts, and promotional materials.
Support network-wide initiatives and other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES

Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
Post-secondary education in project management, communications, public relations, business administration, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is an asset.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project management, partnerships, event planning, or a related field.
Strong organizational, budgeting, and relationship-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

ADDITIONAL CRITERIA

Candidates must legally be entitled to work in Canada.
Knowledge of Ontario’s education environment and FSL programming is considered an asset.
Experience in the not-for-profit sector or member-driven organizations is considered an asset.
Supports promoting learning of both official languages and a bilingual Canada.

SOMMAIRE DU POSTE

Relevant de la direction des opérations, la personne gestionnaire dirige la planification, la promotion et la mise en œuvre des programmes provinciaux, des événements et des initiatives de partenariat en Ontario. Le poste comprend la coordination de projets, la logistique événementielle, la gestion de budgets, les relations avec les parties prenantes ainsi que la collaboration avec les collègues à travers le réseau de CPF.


Les principales responsabilités de la personne gestionnaire sont les suivantes :

Planifier et réaliser des programmes, des événements et des présentations à l’échelle provinciale.
Gérer les échéanciers, les budgets et la logistique des projets.
Établir et maintenir des relations avec les partenaires, fournisseurs, présentateurs et parties prenantes.
Coordonner les lieux, les contrats et le matériel promotionnel.
Soutenir les initiatives à l’échelle du réseau et accomplir toute autre tâche connexe assignée.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPÉTENCES CLÉS

Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite, en français et en anglais.
Formation postsecondaire en gestion de projet, communications, relations publiques, administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe; un baccalauréat constitue un atout.
Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience pertinente en gestion de projet, développement de partenariats, planification d’événements ou dans un domaine connexe.
Solides compétences en organisation, en gestion budgétaire et en gestion des relations.
Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et en collaboration.

CRITÈRE ADDITIONNELS

Les candidates et candidats doivent être légalement autorisés à travailler au Canada.
Connaissance du milieu de l’éducation en Ontario et des programmes de français langue seconde (FLS) est considérée comme un atout.
Expérience dans le secteur sans but lucratif ou dans des organismes dirigés par les membres est considéré comme un atout.
Adhésion à la promotion de l’apprentissage des deux langues officielles et d’un Canada bilingue.
