Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Manager – Organic Division (Operation & Procurement) who will be responsible for end-to-end organic operations and procurement, from farm-level organic compliance to finished product readiness for export, ensuring adherence to Indian and international organic standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Overall responsibility for organic operations, procurement, and compliance
• Handling and managing TraceNet registration, updates, and ongoing compliance
• End-to-end farm-level organic control, including:
o Farmer registration and documentation
o Internal Control System (ICS) implementation and management
o Field inspections, monitoring, and compliance verification
• Coordination with certification bodies (NPOP / NOP / EU Organic)
• Planning and execution of organic raw material procurement in coordination with farmers, FPOs, and suppliers
• Preparation, maintenance, and control of organic documentation, audit records, and traceability reports
• Handling and coordination of organic audits (internal and external)
• Ensuring segregation, traceability, and integrity of organic materials during:
o Procurement
o Processing
o Storage
o Packing
• Close coordination with production, quality, and export teams to ensure compliance across the supply chain
• Training farmers, procurement staff, and internal teams on organic standards, SOPs, and best practices
• Handling buyer-specific organic compliance requirements, documentation, and queries
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Graduate / Postgraduate in Food Technology / Agriculture / Microbiology / Biotechnology or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in organic food processing, operations, or export
• Strong practical knowledge of:
o TraceNet
o ICS
o Farm-level organic systems
o NPOP / NOP / EU Organic standards
• Experience in organic spices, herbs, seeds, or psyllium will be preferred
• Strong documentation control, audit-handling, and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and manage organic operations and procurement responsibilities end-to-end
