Manager Process Effectiveness
Primary Location: Mumbai
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Head Strategy and Process Governance India, in identifying, prioritizing & execution of Project Management /Process improvement initiatives across all segments, a key focus area for the bank
Work with the Regional and Country Business Heads to identify and drive process effectiveness initiatives
Actively identify and take ownership of process improvement and automation opportunities utilising process improvement techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management Systems, and process automation tools.
Initiate processes which are non-existent and / or review and identify process improvements/ gaps & rollout the same in the impact areas such as Customer & Frontline Experience, Cost Reduction / Revenue Generation, Automation & Risk Mitigation etc.,
Own end-to-end delivery of transformation projects deployed in various channels within the bank
Project Management - Work with in-country/Subsidiary teams to drive cost efficiency programme at the Organisation level and own delivery of high impact cost reduction revenue generation projects
Partnering with Country/GBS teams on policy revisions, identifying gaps & implementations.
Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change. Target quantifiable outcomes (Productivity, Cost, Revenue etc)

Support Head Strategy in identifying, prioritizing & execution of Project Management /Process improvement initiatives across all segments
Drive key project which are on strategic priorities for the organisation
Business
Work with the Regional and Country Business Heads to identify and drive process effectiveness initiatives
Identify project which are key business enabler and work with Business stakeholders on simplification of key process
Processes
Actively identify and take ownership of process improvement and automation opportunities utilising process improvement techniques and process automation tools.
Understand various processes and implement process efficiencies initiative across multiple segments within the Bank

Collaborate, share learnings, and act on opportunities within the Process Effectiveness Team
Risk Management
Ensure issues, risks and interdependencies in process improvement initiatives are identified, managed, and resolved via discussion with stakeholders and appropriate escalation process
Drive process improvement initiative in line with Risk Framework of the organisation.
Maintain Project Document Repository
Regulatory & Business Conduct
Comply with the highest standards of regulatory and business conduct and practices as defined by internal and external requirements.

Our Ideal Candidate
Post graduate degree with at least 7-8 years of experience in Banking.
Should be preferably a Lean Six Sigma and/or PMP certified
Hands-on experience in process re-engineering / change management projects
Is proficient in agile project management methodologies, and experience implementing various tools/ approaches in a business context to deliver change excellence
Should be a team player with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills ability to liaise effectively and tailor communication with key internal stakeholders across various levels in the organization.
Strong understanding of the operational environment, processes, and risk management / controls within the banking industry which includes regulatory governance requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills
Must be a highly motivated and energetic team player able to work collaboratively and motivate others to achieve high standards.
Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable able to work in ambiguous situations
Need to have a good understanding on Banking regulations and policies
