Kluwer (Pune) have a need for a hands-on Technical Manager for our Pune Global In-house center (GIC).
Broad expectations from this role are as follows:
• Hands on experience on developing Data Lake, Reporting services using Azure PaaS infrastrucutre
• Hands on Technical expertise in MS Technology, .net, C#, SQL Server, MVC, Web Applications, REST, HTTP, and Cloud patterns, Azure, SAAS.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to innovation initiatives like building PoC.
• Maintain and report dashboard of different engineering programs in the organization.
The Development Manager position will report into Delivery Manager or Senior Development Manager of Pune GIC and would work closely with leads of product development teams.
Technical Experience:
• . NET Application Development Expertise in designing & developing engineering software products using .NET Framework, C#, Windows Desktop Application (WinForms & WPF), SQL Databases, Angular 7+, HTML/ CSS, Mobile Technology.
• Understands and conversant with cloud patterns.
• Strong understanding of Web, HTTP and REST
• Strong knowledge of at least one cloud platform (Microsoft Azure, AWS, etc.)
• Strong Hands-on experience in implementing design patterns such as MVVM, MVC.
• Strong hands-on experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) using C# & ‘SOLID’ Principles.
• Strong hands-on experience in Agile Methodologies/Scrum, Test Driven Development (TDD) & Unit Testing.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Strong technical aptitude. Must be able to identify, analyze and solve problems related to latest technologies in collaboration with technical lead and architect
• Ability to work well with people from different time zones and different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
• Review work of development team, perform code reviews and mentor developers. Communicate and enforce coding standards.
• Evolve the process of the Software Development Life Cycle across the Development teams.
• People management, career development and performance review for team members
Experience:
• A minimum of 10 years in software development with a minimum of 2 years as a development team manager.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in database development – specifically C# .Net and SQL Server.
• Extensive knowledge of product development and software development methodologies
