Job Description
You will support the Office of Rural and Remote Health (ORRH), its governance, function and networks to increase the delivery of enhanced public health for rural and remote Queensland communities.
What you'll do
Lead, manage and evaluate complex strategic programs and projects to deliver rural and remote health strategies aligned with regional, statewide and national priorities.
Provide high-level strategic advice to senior executives on complex, sensitive and time-critical issues, supported by rigorous analysis and performance monitoring.
Build and maintain strong partnerships across government, non-government and internal stakeholders to influence decisions and deliver outcomes.
Develop high-quality briefs, strategies and program plans within formal policy frameworks to address complex rural and remote health service and workforce challenges.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
expertise in project management and health service or workforce planning.
knowledge of (or ability to acquire) current and prospective health strategies, implementation plans and associated activities.
knowledge of the Australian and Queensland health systems, current and prospective rural and remote health care providers, government accountability, risk management in the public health system and its operations.
proven capability to interpret statewide and national health service initiatives.
