Financial Services (FS) partner with all areas of CBA to provide specialist advice on financial management and strategy. This advice covers finance, audit, treasury, investor relations, security, general procurement and property. The Tax Governance and Operational Taxes within the Group Tax is a team of dynamic finance professionals providing a wide range of financial analysis, reporting and operational support.

Your Reporting Lines
The Manager, Regulatory & Compliance Reporting reports to the Reporting Lead and must maintain and build productive relationships with the following key stakeholder groups:
Group Finance
Group and Business Unit Risk teams
Group Compliance
Group Tax
Group Legal
Line 1 Finance Risk Support
BU Product teams
BU Finance teams
BU Subject Matter Experts in the area of FATCA, CRS, AIIR and SSR / GSD
Technology
Internal and external audit

As part of Group Tax, the Tax Governance and Operational Taxes team is responsible for reporting to the Group’s regulator, including ASX, ATO and other regulatory bodies (both domestic and international) which supports the Group’s banking license.
Key activities include:
Accountable for the complete spectrum of operational activity related to the Group’s Substantial Shareholdings Reporting (SSR) / Global Shareholdings Disclosure (GSD) obligations
Managing the ongoing monitoring activities and prepare reports for submission to local and offshore regulators to ensure tax compliance with the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Annual Investment Income Report (AIIR) legislation
Managing the impact of product & system changes in a timely manner to ensure accurate reporting to the regulators
Compliance with and implementation of new regulatory reporting requirements
Provision of data and information, as and when requested, to the regulators
