Responsibilities

A growing Life Sciences company in the Greater Boston area is in need of a Manager of Revenue Accounting. This is a great company, with a strong position for future growth. This is an excellent opportunity to work with both the technical and operational sides of revenue. The Manager of Revenue will be responsible for the following:
• Manage the month end close process for revenue
• Review of contracts for new and existing customers
• Research and analysis of complicated revenue issues
• Support revenue related disclosures and footnote schedules
• Oversight of accounts receivable, billing, collections
• SOX compliance
• Develop and improve revenue accounting policies and processes
• Manage a staff up to 2

The ideal Manager/Sr. Manager of Revenue will have the following experience:
• BS/BS in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• 3+ years of revenue recognition experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong MS Excel
• Public accounting experience and CPA preferred

Compensation: $125,000 to $140,000 plus bonus
