About the role

As the Manager, Risk Insights & Analytics at Australian Retirement Trust, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming complex risk data into actionable intelligence that drives strategic decision-making across the organisation. You’ll lead a high-performing team, design innovative analytics frameworks, and deliver compelling visual reporting solutions for senior stakeholders. Key aspects of the role include:

Leading the design and development of comprehensive risk reporting frameworks.
Delivering timely, accurate, and actionable insights to senior stakeholders and Board Committees.
Developing advanced analytics strategies and methodologies to support strategic decision-making.
Creating and maintaining executive dashboards and visual reporting tools.
Implementing predictive analytics and early warning indicators for proactive risk management.
Managing and mentoring a team of analytics and reporting specialists.
Collaborating with business areas and executives to understand and meet information needs.
Ensuring reporting solutions meet regulatory requirements and best practice standards.
Driving innovation in risk analytics, reporting capabilities, and data visualisation.
Supporting ad-hoc regulatory requests and maintaining compliance with relevant standards.
This role is a permanent opportunity based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne


About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

Proven expertise in advanced analytics techniques, including statistical modelling, predictive analytics, and data mining.
Strong experience designing and implementing comprehensive reporting solutions and executive dashboards.
Advanced proficiency with data analytics and business intelligence tools (such as Power BI or equivalent).
Deep understanding of risk management frameworks and translating them into measurable metrics and indicators.
Demonstrated ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
Strong knowledge of database management, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
Experience leading and developing high-performing analytics or reporting teams.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Solid understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and compliance standards.
Tertiary qualifications in Risk, Governance, Law, Business, or a related field (desirable).
