The Role Responsibilities

Business

Process and Governance team involves consolidating process management within standards, rules, frameworks, and guidelines. Governance involves controlling and reviewing activities in the organisation. Sales - Governance is a part of Process and Governance in which certain activities related to sales are independently managed and reviewed.

Processes
• Manage all activities related to Referral calculation, MIS, correspondence and complaint resolution.
• Review and develop MIS, systems and processes for streamlining referrer process.
• Assist in ERC and ExCo pack preparation.
• Track ERC, ExCo and audit actionable for completion.
• Support call back post disbursement.
• Coordination with various internal and external holders for governance related activities.
• Track, coordinate, analyse, collate data for Sales Incentive plan and check if it is within the governance framework.
• Work towards automation of referral payout process.

Processes Involved
• Contribute to Referral Management process
• Any Other applicable processes and procedures

People and Talent
• To be the source of reference within the business for referrer related activities.

Risk Management
• Execution responsibility for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling, and mitigating financial crime risk and reputational risks arising on account of referrers.

Governance
• Understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Regulatory and Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key Stakeholders
• CEO / CFO / Head P&G / Business Heads
• Retail Compliance / FCC Teams in country
• Operations Team

Other Responsibilities
• Exemplify ‘Here for good’ within the team
• Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures.

Our Ideal Candidate
• Experience in banking industry with Referral Management / support to business.
• Relevant business / function experience within Governance, Operations, business analysis or project management.
• Understanding of the bank’s Operational Risk Framework or equivalent experience gained in other organizations.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with a disciplined attention for details.
• A highly motivated self-starter with a hands-on, delivery focused approach.
• Ability to multitask and review data as well as perform deep dive analysis where required.
• Strong accountability for deliverables.
