Manager| Software Developer in Test

Product managers are home to technical experts who work together to design and build our software and product roadmap, whereas our QA team is constantly aimed at enhancing the quality of our platform delivery through test methodologies for implementations upgrades, and migrations Team and Role Overview You will possess a strong understanding of the pillars of key non-functional areas such as platform automation and performance test automation. You will also have a passion for high-quality delivery and experience in appropriately applying this across all aspects of a project. Assisting the Non-Functional automation engineers & software developers in testing. This role come under the Test automation team. The person responsible will be working closely with the Platform team to automate user cases ex. Configure SSL and verify relevant use cases, start all servers in scope and verify if all are starting successfully via automation. This role is 70% hands-on and 30% on managing the team. Department Quality Assurance Employment Type Permanent - Full Time Location Mumbai Workplace type Onsite Responsibilities • Working with software engineers to understand product architecture and features • Development of UI, API & platform automation tests using internal and open-source tools & infrastructure • Development of performance testing framework • Executing automation test suite in each release • Failure investigation and defect reporting • Keeping a close eye on logs & exceptions • Working and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Skills And Requirements • End-to-end Agile software delivery including analysis, enterprise development, build & deployment, and support • Solid, recent hands-on experience (actively coding) working as a software developer in testing and managing teams • Proficient with shell commands and scripting • Good understanding of Cloud infrastructure, container ecosystem, and platform concepts • Strong experience in testing APIs/Webservices and using API testing tools such as SoapUI and Postman • Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Robot Framework, Cypress, Junit, Page object model • SQL and the ability to write complex queries to validate • Good Knowledge of tools including Git, Jira, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Kubernetes • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, busy, and challenging environment • Candidate should be a graduate/postgraduate with B.E./MCA/MBA
