Job responsibilities
• Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities
• Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration
• Manage the team s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
• Creates a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation
• Drive the delivery of high quality code by the team while providing oversight including code reviews
• Support the team with resolving roadblocks paving the path for a regular delivery cadence.
• Manage the team actively providing mentorship and support.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
12+ year Experience leading technology projects
Experience managing technologists
Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods
Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
Practical cloud native experience
Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Strong understanding of Salesforce Programming and Administration
Working knowledge of SFDX, LWC, Flows and Apex
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and developmental toolsets
Experience working at code level
