The Manager of Software will be responsible for leading teams of engineers in our Bangalore office location. The Manager must have a strong background in software delivery, including running multinational software scrum teams.
This position is based in Bengaluru, India.
Responsibilities
• Lead a team of engineers in development of new software features in a mature enterprise web application.
• Breaking down high-level milestones into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with product managers, technical directors, engineers, SQA and technical support to:
• Coordinate and drive sprint and release planning
• Prioritize and scope software releases
• Drive requirements and definition
• Track project dependencies and critical path
• Identify risks and develop risk mitigation strategies with the team
• Provide status reporting to company leadership and stakeholders
• Take responsibility for solving all problems affecting a software release
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• B.E. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 15+ years of work experience in an agile software development environment
• 10+ years management experience
• 5+ years in a software delivery manager or technical program manager role
• Strong experience with back-end and front-end technologies –Node.js, HTML5, CSS, React/Redux, WebSockets
• Strong knowledge of modern cloud architectures and technologies. Experience with Azure and Serverless is a plus.
• Scrum Master experience on large software programs
• Experience playing an instrumental role in shipping a large software project from concept to release
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Superb leadership and facilitation skills – ability to motivate teams
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation
• Results-driven, self-motivated and enthusiastic
