Morningstar India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Manager for DevOps team to work within Credit Technology team.

The Role:
DBRS Morningstar Credit Rating Technology team seeks a highly talented, hands-on and results driven Manager for DevOps team in the Mumbai office. The role will involve managing a team and ensuring delivery of software and products for the Credit Technology team. In addition to team management responsibilities, primary role is to design/create infrastructure in Amazon AWS cloud as per project requirements & assist with the management and support of Unix/Linux and Windows servers that run Credit Tech services. The Manager is expected to be 'hands on' with the system and individual tasks such as deploying software releases, CI/CD pipeline, DR etc. Manager will also guide the other DevOps engineers, help them to resolve their critical issues.
This position is based out of our Mumbai office.
Responsibilities -
• Manage a team of 10-12 team members and drive the DevOps deliverables for Credit Technology team
• Guiding the team members across Credit Technology team on DevOps and AWS best practices
• Create and oversee project timelines, tasks/responsibilities for all AWS Cloud and on-premise Infrastructure deliverables
• Collaborate with groups throughout Morningstar to proactively identify and manage dependencies
• Manage and support of AWS EC2 instances, Unix/Linux/Windows servers, etc that run all products and services.
• Proficient technical skills around the Linux/UNIX operating system.
• Follow guides to implement best practices, develop efficiencies, and improve scalability.
• Knowledge of IT environments, technologies, system hosting infrastructure, Cloud providers and their platforms is required.
• Work very closely with other groups to resolve problems, deploy and release new products and create solutions to provide world class service, solutions and support.
• Manage other DevOps engineers in their critical technical issues, coach new joiners to bring them up to the pace for DevOps work.
Requirements -
• More than 10 years of IT experience with Engineering degree or BSc IT/Computers or equivalent.
• Very Strong Experience with AWS including extensive experience in Amazon EC2 instances is must.
• Experience of Infrastructure as a code (Terraform or Cloud Formation), CI/CD using Jenkins or Team City is must.
• Experience on AWS cloud with various resource creation & maintenance.
• Must have experience of EC2 backup, migration & DR creation.
• 3-4 years of experience on Infrastructure as Code like Terraform, Ansible or AWS Cloud Formation.
• 4-5 years or more of Linux/Unix experience.
• 1-2 years of Window Server experience
• The ability to adapt quickly to new tasks.
• Exceptional customer service, organization, interpersonal, time-management and written and verbal communication skills.
• High degree of self-motivation.
• The ability to learn custom applications, support, and troubleshoot.
• Experience with virtual machines (OS –Linux, Redhat, Centos, and Ubuntu).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
• Knowledge of Hardware, including installation and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience of working with Monitoring agents and systems.
• Basic knowledge of MySQL preferred.
