QRIDA is seeking an experienced and proven performer in the delivery of government financial assistance programs. You will have the ability to provide effective leadership, management and advice at a senior level. For the full selection criteria, please refer to the role description attached.

As the Manager, State and National Programs you will manage the daily operations of the State and National Programs team including assisting the Senior Manager with operational planning and implementation, risk management, performance reporting, human resource management and financial management.

Key Responsibilities Include

Contribute towards the effective management of the team's resources and information in accordance with QRIDA's governance and policy frameworks, including but not limited to risk management, work health and safety and records management
Lead service delivery to ensure service level agreement obligations, agreed service standards, legislative requirements, standard assessing procedures, standard response indicators and quality assurance standards are achieved in a cost effective and timely manner.
Contribute effectively to the promotion of QRIDA and its financial assistance programs to key stakeholders (e.g. Department of Energy and Public Works & the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, Commonwealth Government agencies and departments and Credit Bureau agencies), through the provision of information, advice and/or presentations.

As a statutory body of the Queensland Government we have been helping primary producers and industry recover from natural disaster, improve sustainability and profitability, make a start in business, and overcome difficult conditions, for almost 30 years.

As the Queensland Government's experts in rural finance, we also administer the State Government's Farm Business Debt Mediation program, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a biennial Rural Debt Survey, undertake research and provide advice to the Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries and Minister for Rural Communities.

QRIDA is empowered under the Rural and Regional Adjustment Act 1++4 to deliver additional programs and services across a range of industry sectors and to local, state and territory governments throughout Australia and for the Australian Government.
