• Test the financial resilience of ANZ to severe but plausible economic scenarios that may threaten ANZs viability.
• Forecast credit metrics to support finance managers with strategic planning over a 3-year time horizon.

Responsibilities
What will your day look like:
• Executing of credit risk stress testing to support Industry-Wide Stress Tests, Group ICAAP and legal entity ICAAPs.
• Forecasting of credit provisions and risk-weighted assets to support financial planning. Monitor and update forecasts in a timely basis.
• Support the development of methodologies and approaches to cater for new and emerging risks (e.g. climate risk).

What will you bring?
Must Have Knowledge, Skills, And Experiences
• 5 years banking experience working across roles such as in Stress Testing, Credit Risk Modelling, CCAR/ DFAST execution, Forecasting, Credit Metrics, Risk Reporting, Consulting.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced programming and data wrangling skills using SAS/SQL/Python.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge analyzing credit provisions and Risk Weighted Assets.
• Practical knowledge of statistical modeling, quantitative forecasting models, financial analysis techniques, and methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with a range of stakeholders.
• Growth mindset and the ability to learn quickly.
Good To Have Knowledge, Skills, And Experiences
• Previous experience in stress testing.
• Knowledge of macroeconomic variables and analysis.
• Previous experience in uplifting and improving processes.
• Development of data quality control checks.
• Experience using data warehouses within ANZ.
Qualifications
• Tertiary qualification in an analytics-based degree (statistics, actuarial science, mathematics, quantitative finance, engineering)
